Dr. Ryota Kimura, DDS, PhD
Lion Heart Dental International Clinic is led by Dr. Ryota Kimura, DDS, PhD, a board-certified specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery. In addition to this, he also specialises in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry.
Dr. Ryo received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Tokyo Dental College in 2007 and his PhD in Medicine from the University of Chiba - Graduate School of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2017, where he had vast contributions towards oral cancer research. Soon after he received his PhD, he earned his board-certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
After years of training, research, and hands-on working experience, Dr. Ryo opened his private practice in Chiba in 2015. He cultivated a strong passion for cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry. This enthusiasm drove him to further his education and training, including a masterclass in Aesthetic Dentistry at UCL Eastman Dental Institute London and roles at various cosmetic dental clinics in Tokyo.
In 2023, Lion Heart Dental International Clinic was opened with the goal of providing meticulous care and world-class service to all nationalities. Dr. Ryo is aware of the struggles that people experience in Japan when looking for a dentist that they can trust, so he wanted to create an environment where language barrier and other issues do not exist.
